CA Foundation 2025 Exam Dates
- Dates: January 12, 14, 16, and 18, 2025
- Syllabus: As per the scheme notified under Regulation 25 F of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.
CA Intermediate 2025 Exam Dates
- Group I: January 11, 13, and 15, 2025
- Group II: January 17, 19, and 21, 2025
Syllabus: As per the scheme notified under Regulation 28 F of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.
Examination Timing
The examination timings are set to ensure that students have adequate time to complete their papers. Here’s a breakdown of the timings and durations:
CA Foundation Examination
- Paper 1 & 2: 2 PM to 5 PM (3 Hours)
- Paper 3 & 4: 2 PM to 4 PM (2 Hours)
CA Intermediate Examination
- All Papers: 2 PM to 5 PM (3 Hours)
It is important to note that Paper 3 and 4 of the Foundation Examination will not have any advance reading time. However, all other papers will provide a 15-minute advance reading period, starting from 1:45 PM (IST).
CA Exam Registration Online
Candidates can complete their CA exam registration online through the ICAI Self-Service Portal for a smooth and efficient process (SSP) at https://eservices.icai.org. Candidates must also pay the requisite examination fee online.
How to Apply
- Login Credentials: Use your SRN (Student Registration Number) in the format <SRN@icai.org> as your username and your password to log in.
- New Users: If you have never registered on SSP, you can create an account using the following link: Registration Page.
- Forgot Password: Use the “forgot password” option if you cannot recall your password.
- Services Available: On the SSP, candidates can create usernames, register courses, convert courses, revalidate, and update their photo, signature, and address.
Payment Options
The examination fee can be paid online using various methods, including VISA, MASTER, MAESTRO Credit/Debit Cards, Rupay Card, Net Banking, and BHIM UPI.
Option to Answer Papers in Hindi
ICAI recognizes the diverse linguistic background of its candidates. Therefore, students appearing for the Foundation and Intermediate Examinations will have the option to answer their papers in either English or Hindi. ICAI exam notification Highlights
- Public Holidays: The examination schedule will remain unchanged, even if any of the examination days are declared a public holiday by the Central Government, State Governments, or local bodies. - Examination Format: For composite papers containing both Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and descriptive questions, the seal of the MCQ question paper will be opened at 2 PM (IST). This means there will be no advance reading time allotted for the MCQ papers.
- Duration and Timing: Each paper’s duration varies, with Paper 1 and 2 of the Foundation course lasting three hours, while Papers 3 and 4 are limited to two hours. All Intermediate papers will follow the standard three-hour duration.
